About this session

At the WFO Developer Days in Dublin we showed how far we got with "automating stuff with agents". It started with vector search, an experimental agent inside orchestrator-core and a chat in the WFO GUI. It ended with an agent network troubleshooter that queries your orchestrator and inventory, runs actual network tools and collaborates with other agents. In this webinar we walk through that architecture, show it live and share what we learned along the way.

Agenda

  1. What an agent really is: a system prompt, a model of choice and a specified set of MCP tools
  2. MCP servers for the WFO: staying close to the REST/OpenAPI spec, FastMCP and shared authorisation
  3. Where to run agents: kagent on Kubernetes, Docker Agent, LibreChat and Slack
  4. Agent-to-agent (A2A): letting specialised agents collaborate on one incident
  5. Live demo: querying the WFO and Netbox MCP servers, then using actual network tools
  6. Risks, evals and what is next: authorisation and autodiscovery of agents

What you'll take away

  • A reference architecture for agent-driven troubleshooting on top of the WFO
  • Practical guidance for exposing your orchestrator safely through MCP
  • An honest view on the risks: changing one agent can affect the whole constellation

Who should attend

  • Network engineers and NOC teams
  • WFO users and developers
  • Platform and automation engineers
