We do not track you.
Deliberately. No analytics, no cookies, no tracking pixels, no third-party scripts. The only data we have is what you choose to send us.
Privacy at a glance
- No cookies No cookie banner, because there is nothing to consent to.
- No analytics No Google Analytics or any other statistics tool. Not even a visitor counter.
- No tracking No tracking pixels, fingerprinting, ad networks or social media widgets.
- No third-party scripts Everything on this site comes from our own domain. Nothing phones home.
- Never sold What you share with us stays with us. We never sell or rent it.
Why we don't track
We build software for a living, and we know how much a typical website quietly collects. We don't think you should pay for reading a blog post with your data. So we made a choice: Virge works without knowing who you are. If you want to talk, you tell us. That is the only way we learn anything about you.
What you share with us
We only receive what you type in and send yourself:
- Contact form: your name, email address and message.
- Webinar registration: your name, email address, the webinar you choose and, if you fill them in, your company and a question in advance.
- Job applications: whatever you email us, such as your CV.
We use it only for the reason you sent it: to answer you, to send you the join link for your webinar or to handle your application. No newsletter unless you ask for one.
Who helps us
Formspree delivers form submissions to our inbox. It processes them on our behalf and only to deliver them to us. See the Formspree privacy policy.
GitHub Pages hosts this website. Like any web server, it briefly records technical data such as your IP address to deliver pages and keep the service secure. We don't get access to these logs and don't use them. See the GitHub privacy statement.
How long we keep it
No longer than needed. Messages and applications are deleted when the conversation is finished, unless it turns into a collaboration.
Your rights
The GDPR gives you the right to ask us at any time what we have about you, and to have it corrected or deleted. Send a message via our contact page and we will respond within a month. Not happy with how we handle it? You can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
Changes
If we ever change how we handle your data, we update this page first. If we were ever to add analytics or cookies, we would say so here, and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
